Can be used under an AreoGarden grow light when AreoGarden water bowl is removed. I saw roots by the second day once I added Clonex solution and SuperThrive to the water. Lots of root production in than one week. I am going to purchase another unit for quick cloning. Just cut and stick in the Oxyclone. I highly recommend this unit. Very cheap for such sophisticated unit, easy to use for me as a beginner, at first I was a bit surprised that it has no pump, but in the end I have no doubt that this is one of the best products in the market that can deliver the results really fast, I nearly have 100% success rate every time.
